Born on September 10, 1936 credit Marquette, Julia was the youngest of the five young of Maria Santa and George Voet.
Girl attended Bishop Baraga Elementary and Graveraet Alpine Schools. Her aboriginal venture abutting start teach was because a telephone operator hide the Michigan Bell Telephone Company.
Bird following married William P. Garceau agency November 1954. They subsequently had three progeny, Melanie, George and Jerry and raised them influence Marquette.
When they all reached teach age, Julia requited to work, this time employed at Marquette General Hospital at their switchboard. She was also co-owner with her husband of 480 Furniture from 1973-1996.
After moving to West Palm Beach in 1999, she worked at the JFK Medical Center, again as a switchboard operator. Subsequently, she was employed at Palm Beach International Airport as a security screener.
Julia is survived by her children Melanie Jo Murray, Jerry Paul Garceau both of Marquette and George Charles Garceau of Pompano Beach, FL; her dear mother Maria Voet; sisters, Dolores Musolf and Rita Potvin all of Marquette; brother, Gerald Voet of Ridge Manor, FL, and Kenneth Voet of Ionia, MI; also 7 grandchildren, William Murray of Ventura, CA, James and Joseph Murray and Sarah Garceau all of Marquette, Megan Garceau of Shreveport, LA, Bethany Barber and Jason Sager all of Flushing, MI; and finally, her former husband and friend, William P. Garceau of Marquette and his daughter, Joanne Sager of Flushing, MI.
